Cocktail: The Storyteller
1/2 shot-shot peach shnapps
Champagne
Pineapple juice
Frozen berries
Ice
Throw ingredients together in a fun cocktail glass for some storytelling fun.
Chili Dip
8oz. cream cheese
1 can chili (I use Hormel turkey chili)
1 cup grated cheese (I usually use a blend of cheddar and pepper jack, but this time I use an italian blend and feta)
red, yellow, orange peppers
Use a pie plate or something of the like. Spread cream cheese evenly on the bottom. Pour chili on top. Sprinkle cheese over top. Thinly slice peppers and sprinkle over dip.
Microwave for about 6 minutes in 2 minute increments until cheese is melted.
Easy peasy!
Caprese sandwiches:
yummy bread toasted up a bit, rub garlic on
basil oil or pesto
fresh tomato
fresh mozzarella
that's about it. Layer all on the bread and eat up!
Everything was SO delicious :) Thanks girls!
PS: I figured out why my icing melted after I mulled over it the whole drive home -- the cut strawberries reacted with the sugar in the icing (duh!) Tip for next time: put strawberries on at the last minute!
C- the cupcakes were totally delicious no matter what the icing did. Thanks so much for making them, they were the perfect dessert! Your decorations were beautiful!
